Job Title: Senior Air Quality Engineer / Consulting Project Manager

Job Description: This is a full-time position. You will have the opportunity to take a leadership role in BlueScape’s operations. You will complete and manage diverse air quality projects within industries such as power generation, petroleum refining, heavy manufacturing, etc. The primary technical focus for this position will be air permitting, air emissions inventories, regulatory compliance evaluations, control technology evaluations, and air quality impact studies, including air dispersion modeling studies and health risk assessments. You will complete greenhouse gas inventories and emissions reduction assessments. You will be responsible for supervising associate engineering staff.

Qualifications: A minimum B.S. degree in Mechanical, Environmental, Aerospace or Chemical Engineering, or comparable engineering degree is required. Experience with California regulations is required. An M.S in Engineering and P.E. registration is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess 8 to 15 years experience in the air quality services field, and have extensive technical experience with regulatory air dispersion modeling, health risk assessments, air permitting, greenhouse gas management and compliance evaluations. As evidenced by past work experience, the candidate should have a strong track record in project management, including solving air quality compliance problems, managing client expectations, supervising staff, and managing project budgets. Business development experience will be a plus.

Compensation: BlueScape provides a competitive compensation package for this position, including base salary from $80,000 to $150,000 plus bonus incentives. Compensation will depend upon experience. Full benefits will be provided including, vacation and sick leave, medical/dental benefits, life and disability insurance, and a retirement plan.
